Field Box (100 Level) — Wrigley Field
In front of the pillars — the safest lower-level buy at Wrigley.
Field Box sections ring the infield on the 100 level, ahead of the Terrace pillars and below the upper deck. There are no support columns in this area, and seat reviews generally report clear views. The standard modern trade-off applies: extended protective netting runs in front of many of these sections.
What is reported about these seats
Published guides and fan reviews typically describe Field Box views as unobstructed by any structure. The notes that do recur are about netting in the sightline for seats behind home plate and along the lines, and the occasional railing at aisle and crosswalk positions — comfort factors rather than the pillar obstructions of the Terrace level.
Obstruction at Wrigley Field is seat-specific, not section-wide: being a few seats to one side of a column, post or roofline can change the view completely. That is why the notes here describe the pattern an area is known for rather than promising a verdict on any individual seat — and why the last step before buying should always be a seat-specific photo or a direct confirmation from the seller.
Before you buy Field Box seats
- If your budget reaches Field Box, you can largely stop worrying about pillars at Wrigley.
- Prefer seats a few rows up if you want to see over the dugouts and the netting frame on the infield sides.
- Aisle seats anywhere at Wrigley trade a bit of railing for easy access — decide which you value.
